HAIR. It had better be the BEST Thing in the West End

SADM, the older set around me were not impressed and just saw it as a pointless exercise. They enjoyed hearing just some of the music again but on the whole they saw it as pointless and over produced.

Now, I am fascinated by this older set around you?

I wouldn't say Hair is over produced, I think that side they done very well and acted out very well, my complaints is the book, which comes more to light when the production drags in the middle, if the show was shorter this would help.

I just have such brilliant memories of the national tours in the 70s and early 80s.

sgv123 - Have heard that too, but have also heard that he's told ppl that he was offered it and didn't want to come, so really no idea if he'll be coming over...we will have to know soon who is taking over I would think, with only 2 weeks left of Will its kind of ridiculous that we don't know who will be Berger yet!

hmmmm...rumor over here has been that Will has been scheduled to come back to the Broadway show. I personally did not like Ace in the role, so I really hope that is still the plan. I hope we find out for sure soon :)

Saw the matinee today and absolutely loved it, all the cast were great. Have instantly become a huge Will Swenson fan, dancing on the stage at the end i felt like a 13 year old girl when he was stood next to me HAIR. It had better be the BEST Thing in the West End

^ ha ha ha! even though sometimes i thought it was a bit OTT, he was one reason i went to NY to see it. i have a really cute vid of him to show you. anyhoo...i felt the same way, then a grown up when beside James Rado at one time. awesome!

"Now, I am fascinated by this older set around you?"

me too. there was a woman beside me at one show whose daughter took her for her 65th birthday and who saw it in '69. anyway, she was moved to tears and another time when leaving the theatree there were many people at least 20 years my senior absolutely gushing.

yes after he has done the show with Audra. but...with all the talk of HAIR in NY possibly only lasting until October and then him joining Priscilla (Toronto) it is hard to know when and how long
