Front Mezz isn't too far away at all at the Rodgers. I could make out all facial expressions and even costume details. That said, the front ROW of the front mezz is PAINFUL if you have long legs.
The Rear Mezz is a whole other story, however. Felt like a mile from the stage.
How is the extreme side left of the orchestra at the Rogers? My boyfriend is able to get handicap seats due to an illness and that is where they are (at a surprisingly steep discount too).
Rear mezz is fine. It doesn't feel that far back. This isn't a very large house.
As for rear orchestra, as long as there isn't some aerial sequence those sightlines should be fine as well.

n2nbaby I actually just got extreme left orch seats! The guy at the box office recommended those over (same price) center front mezz and rear mezz seats. He said the rows are curved enough so they're not partial view or anything and that he would choose to be closer rather than center for this show. So, we'll see (I hope).
I think that the R Rodgers seats are probably THE Most uncomfortable on Broadway. it must be hell to be stuck in there for 3 hours if you are really tall. I am avererage height and I was so uncomfortable. It really affected my enjoyment of If/Then. I would try to get a seat on an aisle as a priority, and then worry about far side or mez.
I think Lin-Manuel likes the Rodgers for sentimental reasons, but I wish he had picked another theater! If the Nederlander people were smart, they would remove some seats and fix the problems. If it could be done at City Center, why not here?
