If you refer to the off topic board you would see the idea for making this maessageboard into a musical. and it includes bg2's antics. People seem to love the idea. I also hear they used this messageboard as a sketch for Gypsy of the year.

Oh yeah and podium, just to give you fair warning if you didn't already know this, but posts on this website rarely stay on subject, you have to guide them if you want them to. Otherwise if you just let it go you get bg2 on here talking about taking cold showers. Now back to the subject at hand!

Now there's an original thought. Hmmmmm, I can see it now........10's of homebound folks sitting at their computers, in their worst underwear, bantering with the other "witty" theatre "experts". Talk about 6 degrees of separation. We are all so "icognito". I bet all of us fall within 6 degrees of separation which actually makes up another intersting idea. It's a frightening thought but I bet a lot of us know each other but hide behind this damn cyber crap.

Hahah I'm sorry bg2. But from what I've heard there are several broadway stars who either read or post on the site. I know a few people know who, but I don't and unless they want to tell me I won't ask, but its nice to have them on the board that way they can give us insight into what is going on right now and how things actully are. And its good to know that they get feedback from us. I dunno what excatly I'm trying to say maybe you can figure it out

I hate to mention a Disney show, but I think Anastatia would make an AMAZING Broadway show! The songs in the show are beautiful, plus they can write new songs. I know we need to avoid Disney, but if it was not Disney, don't you think it would be good?

I am completely unfamiliar with Angels in America, I first heard of it on this messageboard and I don't have cable here at home and no hbo up at school so I guess I am a deprived child. You would have to tell me.

I always loved the book A Separate Peace, I dunno if it could be made into a musicl or not but if it was I would definately love to see it as long as it was well done.

Angels in America, collectively, is 2 plays -- "millenium approaches" and "perestrokia", each play was a full 3 hours, making Angels in America, in total, 6 hours long.. "millenium approaches" opened first,a nd played for a full 8 shows a week.. a year later, "perestrokia" opened and, I believed played for a short time as 8 shows a week, replacing "millenium".. then finally, the two played in repertory.. you could see either one show or the other, or both..

so, the weekly show schedule would be like --


Tuesday -- "millenium"
Wednesday -- mat: "millenium", eve: "perestrokia"
Thursday -- "perestrokia"
Friday -- "millenium"
Saturday -- mat: "millenium", eve: "perestroika"
Sunday --"perestroika"

I'm a boxer boy and the second they wear out they get thrown away. Hmmm I have the strangest sense that I was supposed to remember something, what was it, something about staying on top-....no thats not it, hmmmm what could it be?
