Paramount Home Entertainment just announced to retailers that the studio will stop releasing HD-DVD titles as soon as next week. “Into The Wild” and “Things We Lost In The Fire” will be the last movies the studio will release on the failed format. HD-DVD versions of other movies that have been announced previously, such as the “Jack Ryan Collection,” “Sweeny Todd” and others have been entirely removed from the studio’s release schedule.
As Paramount Home Entertainment is going through the switch from HD-DVD to Blu-ray, there will be a gap as the studio has not yet announced when they will resume high definition releases on Blu-ray disc, though word on the street is that it will be some time this summer.
1. What is Sweeny Todd?
2. Why is this on the Main Board? It's about a movie.
3. Must you type in all caps?
Thanks for widening this page for no reason, poor man... er, nimrod!
Is the name-calling really necessary?

Thank God they are putting it out on Blu-ray!

Brody arent you the one constantly pimping HD DVD? This news must truly be devestating to your ego tripping.
Nope. Wrong person.
Though I'm fortunate to have both an HD-DVD player and a Blu-ray disc player, I've always been a staunchy Blu-ray disc supporter.
Regardless of what the outcome was going to be -- would it be HD-DVD or Blu-ray disc... I was never affected.
