In case you needed another reason to see it, meet Evan Todd.

I thought this pic of him on his BWW info page was nice too

Dear GOD.
I was hoping this thread would actually give info about the show and have some of the press they've been doing it. As per usual for BWW, it is shameless objectification and drooling. Sigh.

If you look closer, there is a link under the initial objectification, Heather.
I know, Heather.
I just feel like some beefcake in a small part isn't really a useful focus for a thread about the show as a whole.

It's a topic about photos from a rehearsal. I'm not sure what else can be discussed other than how the cast looks.
I saw the LA workshop & I think it'll have a 98% chance that it'll transfer to Broadway.

I don't know what else to say. The cast looks great. I hear the lunchtray number is fabulous. The songs I've heard are good. But it's a bunch of pictures of people in a rehearsal room. But I'm not gonna lie, his arms were the star...
Well, based on the videos out there of the rehearsal, discussing the songs wouldn't be out of line, no? Content over visual attractiveness? Personally, I think the Candy Store number seems great...wish they'd shown a bit more of the opener.
Evan Todd is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He's so perfect in the show and spends the last half of the show wearing nothing but a pair of underwear (Unless they change something in NY).
The show is going to make Heathers fans ecstatic and the stage show is even better than the film.
As Coco Peru once said, "It's big, it's beautiful, and you're gonna LOVE it!"

Oy gevalt, I was making a joke. The guy's gorgeous. And UNDIES? Oh, my.
But I've had the demo for a while. It's wonderful. I'm VERY excited to see this, regardless of Evan.
This makes me beyond excited! Its going to be fantastic. The "Luch Tray Song" is called "Beautiful" if you were curious. Its gonna be great!

OK, now I'm confused. Are we still talking about Evan Todd -- or are we now talking about the show itself?
Here is one song from the demo. There are some from Joe's Pub as well...

Now that stickit mentions it, photography IS pretty objectifying.
Sigh.

Is there still time to recast the lead cause what i see in the video makes me want to motor elsewhere.
Not an impressive marketing effort at all.
I'm a little bothered that Buzzfeed gave away one of the musicals major plot twists.
It was hysterical to see the audiences reaction when it happens.

If the plot twist is the same as the movie, it doesn't really count as a spoiler, no? I mean, people have had 26 years to find out the plot of this thing...
Can't say for sure, as I am seeing this show fairly early in the run and am going in cold, so not listening to demos or reading stuff.
This may be lost on some of the youngsters on the board who grew up in a post-Tarantino world, but once upon a time, HEATHERS was actually considered seriously f**king edgy. Daniel Waters said he wrote it with Stanley Kubrick in mind and Winona Ryder's agent reportedly got down on his knees and begged her to not do it.

When she helped him back up, she swiped his gold watch. Allegedly.
I would just like to say... that the show is wonderful. I was lucky enough to see the last workshop in Los Angeles. Go. And all the guys in it are gorgeous. Sad Rex Smith did not move with the cast to New York.

No, it's not in the movie at all...
