My how time flies!
I'm celebrating by wearing red. Later today the b/f and I will have dinner at a german restaurant that looks a bit like the Harmonia Gardens.
I love it! Have fun, Dollypop.
Don't forget to salt his beets.

Honey, I've already cut his wings!
Already a thread from 12 hrs ago 'Happy Birthday Dolly!'
Dolly, are his dumplings lighter than air?
Happy birthday, "Hello, Dolly"! I still remember when my mother and father saw it with Channing and bought the record. (I was 8.)
Eerie that Dolly and Ethel share the same birthday, isn't it, Dollypop?
Happy birthday DOLLY!
In a very odd way, this show was a major saving grace in my life. It will always have a special place in my heart.
At the age of five I could sing the title song from memory, and frequently did. Even though we did NOT own the OCR, and I don't know how I learned it.
And my parents said they had no idea about me..........

In '64, it was easy to know the lyrics to "Hello, Dolly!" because Louis Armstrong's version of it was played all over the airwaves. It was a top tune even before the show opened on Broadway.
Happy Birthday to one of the greatest musicals ever written!
So Dollypop, you were, what, 25 on opening night?
