i just thought of a good point about WICKED
okay, so teen girls are cheering and rooting on the Wicked Witch of the West
they aren't rooting for the good people, a witch is their inspiration
...wow
just a thought

Welcome Snubre! You have been here for like what an hour. Or is this one of your many identities?

Well it seems that Broadway World has accumulated many new accounts today, including myself. But I think it's safe to say that I was not associated with those.
I'll be home when the morning comes.

Apparently, Rent was on TV today. When my 10-year-old daughter heard the music, she put her hands over her ears, shook her head while looking panicked, then ran away yelling, "Turn it off! Turn it off! It's killing me!"

well MY hair changed MY life yesterday.....finally have a decent barber who told me I could have a flat-top, after years of others saying no, wrong type hair, etc....and DAMN does Daddy look hot.
Yes, hair has changed my life!
(and my answer ranks up there in silliness with your VERY overasked question)
USE THE DAMN SEARCH FEATURE

RENT. Enough said.

You know I adore RENT, but this question seems inane. I mean Rent didn't change my life per se, but was a reafirmination of how I feel about life. It's more like I thought that I wish Johnathom Larson was alive, because we had VERY similar views on life.

RENT has changed my friends' lives because they now know more showtunes than they ever wanted to.
And wasn't there already a similar thread just...yesterday?

They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink

And at times I think
I would gladly die

And Starbucks will use the words 'large' and 'small', not pretentious crap like grande and tall.

RENT sent Angel to my house. She held a gun to my head and forced me to sing "Today 4 U" in my underwear. So, Rent changed my life by emotionaly scaring me.

Godpsell can be a moving and lasting theatrical experience. Students love it. The audience was moved as well.
Please ignore all the real bitchy people who tried to hi-jack your thread, or say, "Please use the search feature." They are rude idiots.

Exactly.
That's why no one person is called out or singled out, or named, or threated, or have any element of the personal life commented upon.
But since you mentioned it, and identified yourself, if the shoe fits...

Rent has changed me from depression to how I used to live as if there was "no day but today." It has taught me how to erase the past of how things happened and be comfortable with my sexuality.. There is too much to type here so if you would want to know the full story pm me:)

Sorry to say this but WOW What a bunch of idiots have posted on this thread?
Rent happened to change a lot of peoples lives especially when it came to Gay Men and Women and dealing with HIV.
A freind of mine who had Aids(whos sadly gone now)really found hope in this show and it's message, and that kept him around a lot longer because up untill that point he was just waiting to die(thats all he knew).
If you are one of the people who hate rent then dont post but dont piss all over someone elses opinions for the sake of been a prick.
For a show to give hope and raise awarness to something what effects so many people, people we all know, well that can only be a good thing right?
No one is saying you have to be a fan of Rent but respect the people who's lives have been touched by this show.
I thank god this show came when it did and im sure my freind would to.
xx
