Any info on how busy the lottery has been for Hair this summer? Number of people? Number of tickets? Ticket locations?
Thanks!
It was pretty busy last week (Thursday). Probably 50 people? They had 19 tickets in the first and second rows.

I did lottery yesterday for the Wednesday matinee and there weren't even enough people to fill the two front rows.

are the lotto seats just the center or are they left and right too?

Thinking about doing lotto sometime this week, anyone know what it's like? and if you lose, can you still get rush tickets for $37?

Yes, they still offer lottery loser tickets for $37

Does anyone know how the lottery is for a Wednesday night performance? I wanted to try for the matinee but my friend doesn't get out of work until 6pm, so we are trying to see the night show instead. If we don't win we will buy tickets but she's never seen it before so I want her to have great seats (ala, lottery.) So, anyone know how it's been Wednesday nights? Also, is there any specific order in which they give out the seats? Like first few winners get front row, last few get 2nd row? Or is it just random?
I went to last night's performance (Monday) and there were maybe 70 people there for the lottery. I don't see how they offered rush because the place seemed filled to capacity. Maybe it's busier on Monday's because so many other theaters are dark. It was crazy.
It must be because of dark theatres because previously, half of the orchestra was full, maybe. I'm seeing it again on Thursday... I bought a ticket through TDF but depending on where it's located, I will also enter the lottery.
I'm gonna give this a shot tomorrow night. I'm not too worried.

Any info on the location of lotto loser/rush seats? Has anyone sat there? How was it?

Did Weds. matinee today with a friend. We both lost, but the crowd was not huge. There were only a few losers with us losers. The woman conducting the lotto said we could all go to the back of the lotto line to get $37 partial view orchestra tickets if we wanted. We opted for student rush, row S, center orchestra. Not a bad deal versus partial view. And just as a side note, the partial view at the St. James sucks. Been there, done that for Idiot when it was playing.
I have two friends that won today so I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow.
I had partial view at the St. James on Thursday evening and it absolutely did not suck. I was to the far right and saw basically everything. I opted for Row F to the far right (PV) over row M in the center and I'm very glad that was the decision I made.
I've also done partial view many times at the St. James and it does not suck. I've been in much worse theaters, it basically just cuts off the extreme side of the stage that you're sitting on. Further back is better if you're that far to the side, but when I did it for American Idiot I didn't really mind it.

Was there yesterday for the Matinee. Around 30-40 people I'd say, and they had 19 pairs of tickets to give out.
Ended up winning BB104 (front row, because they took out row AA) and I was talking to someone who strongly suggested the "lotto loser" seats over the rush seats if you aren't successful with the lotto.

How early do you guys suggest getting to the theatre for the lotto? I've never done it before but we're thinking of trying a weekend matinee.

Luv2goToShows: Thanks so much! That helps a lot. I don't have the best luck in the world...actually I usually don't...but fingers crossed! I saw the show yesterday and LOVED it and I'd like a cheap way to (possibly) catch it again before it leaves.
