I just bought this recording and I just neeed to get out my feelings...
ITS FANTASTIC!
What an awesome cast that really tears up this awesome score!

I've been in love with that CD since the moment it graced my mailbox. Everybody sounds SO GOOD.
And Esparza on the title song? Vocal. Perfectionnnn.

Jennifer Hudson, who TEARS IT UP on "Easy to Be Hard"
No one has sung like her since Jennifer Holliday, IMHO.

What I would give to be able to see this benefit.
The only song I don't like is Air and that is just because Harvey's voice has begun to get under my skin from all the hairspray i listened to a couple years back.
Otherwise the best track is either Raúl on the title track,
or Gavin Creel on "Going Down" (with Adam gettin an honorable mention on "I Got Life").

Hearing Jennifer Hudson sing that song live at the concert was literally one of the greatest moments of my life. It was the best rendition of ANY song I have EVER heard.
