Posted: 5/12/07 at 12:12amAlso, what got me kinda really excited was that I checked on the link to the soundtrack from the blog and It says it has a new name: "SOUNDTRACK TO THE MOTION PICTURE: 'HAIRSPRAY'" and the version will be enhanced so we'll just have to wait and see what that means!

Can't wait to see what Michael St. Gerard has been up to, and to get a better glimpse at the newly re-thinned Ricki Lake.
Hopefully, John Waters, Deborah Harry, Jerry Stiller, Pia Zadora and Ric Ocasek are there too.
Weird that OPRAH! would be having the HAIRSPRAY cast on her show.
Too bad Sonny Bono, Ruth Brown and especially Divine are no longer with us to see them again.

Posted: 5/12/07 at 1:40pmCan't wait. I saw Hairspray in previews on Broadway and then once on tour and it should be interesting to see this on the big screen. Just watched the trailer and it looks like it has a lot of energy too, which is a step up from that horrid film version of The Producers
