When their are talented people involved, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman on hand, a score by Shaiman, a wonderfully adapted screenplay, a newcomber with luster and vigor just itching at the chance to begin, with a Broadway and touring company ensemble, whats the problem.
To me, there are so many positives that no one is considering. It seems to me, people want this to fail.
