Not always so. I've actually received pre-order Cd's from Amazon that shipped early and arrived on the day the cd came out.

It's 9.99 on Wal*Mart too. Maybe we should get it there. I don't think there have been any problems with their stock.

Haha...what I mean is that Amazon just sent out an email to everyone saying that their Hairspray cds would be pushed back and shipped out on July 17th. They are the only retailer to announce this.

I believe it has to do with Amazon not recieving the shipment in time.

I ordered mine from Amazon on June 15th, but I don't think it was $9.99. What surprises me, I ordered other CDs, but I guess they're waiting for the Hairspray CD to come in because it says all items won't be delivered until 7/19. That kind of sucks. I could understand having to wait for Hairspray, but I shouldn't have to wait more than a month for my other CDs.

I didn't get a notification from Amazon, but when I tracked my order it said it would be shipped out on 7/19.

I just listened to the sample clips; they sound great. I love "Cooties". I'm not sure what context it's being used in the film, but I really liked it.

It most certainly does. I'm wondering if it's just a bonus track and doesn't appear in the movie at all.
