The latest article in the RJ said Avenue Q was making money and their advance sales are picking up every week.
The two times I've gone, the audience was packed and enjoying it immensely.

I have say that I'm intrigued by the Vegas version of Hairspray. I have in the past said that I wouldn’t see this version, but I’ve been rethinking this. I'm not a fan of cutting down shows, but I'm curious to see what the writers and producers come up with for a 90 minute version. Hairspray is a good show, but it does seem that it could be streamlined a bit - the whole dodge ball segment and some of Tracy in jail never really worked for me.
I didn’t get to see Harvey in the roll so, that would be a plus.
Also, I have been known to go to Vegas just to see a show. Zumanity and O come to mind, but I’m sure there were others. Vegas shows are more about the spectacle, than the plot. I like both types of shows.
