Are the boxes available online? Last Block I went to the Box Office the day the new block went onsale to the public(day after TONYS) at the BO, and was told all boxes were gone. However they were not sold online after the TONYS that night. I called the RR and they didn't know either.
Any response would be awesome
I guess my question is how do I get a box seat?

My theory, and it is just a theory, is that the boxes going forward will be used for the lottery. If the number of seats is being doubled, they have to come from somewhere. Does anyone remember when that is supposed to start?

New lottery seats are supposed to come from the second row, starting with the bloc of dates released on Tony Sunday.

That would be great. In that case, what about the boxes? Why aren't they being sold?

They are....or at least they were in the last batch! Perhaps they are limiting how many they initially release.
I have a friend that secured some in the last sale (Starting with the Tonys). It wasn't online, in fact, it was a few weeks later. They have only been sold at the box office, to the best of my knowledge.
I've now sat in the box, front mezz and rear mezz. Suprisingly, the box was my favorite of the three.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

We walked up to the Box Office on Friday afternoon right before the matinee emptied out and asked about Box seats for the 4th of July weekend next summer and were able to buy 2 tix with zero delay or problem. Didn't ask about other dates and it sounded like lower boxes are harder to get than upper, if folks are concerned about that.
