So, Lin said yesterday that he is taking a vacation "next week". It was very vague. Does anyone know if he will be out this coming week (3/27-4/3) or the following week (4/3-4/10)?? I am going on april 7th (have had my tickets for half a year now) and am sort of freaking out about this. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks!

I didn't see him as King George, but he was on as Lafayette/Jefferson when I saw it. He didn't have the kind of facility with the raps that Daveed does, but he was very very funny as Jefferson especially, so I'm sure he would make a great King.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I hope they make an announcement soon if he is in fact leaving (which I think he is). Maybe it's the 9th?

I don't think Groff has missed a show due to sickness. Andrew Chappelle is active on twitter so we would know if he was on for Groff.

Whew! I'm taking two teenagers to Hamilton on April 9th, so it looks like we will see Groff's last performance. This pleases me. :)
Edited to add that I do think O'Malley will be wonderful in the role, and I'm also pleased that a later group of teenagers I'm taking will get to see him!

LOVE O'Malley! Great choice...and really great for him after the disappointment of NERDS.
We have tickets for May 9th...just a little bummed we'll miss Groff.
