We are not "subjected". If you don't want to listen to his music, you don't have to. You have that option. But "Daddy's Boy's" debut album peaked at #3 on the Billboard charts so it appears a lot of people subjected themselves. Makes sense that he recorded another album. JMO
At the end of the day, or when all is said and done, HAMILTON will be remembered for its Tony wins. It made its impact on stage…television followed when theatres were closed. I don’t think HAMILTON would have received Oscar love had the pandemic not happened and it was thrown into movie theatres as originally planned.
Why? There is really no precedent. The Emmy Awards have nominated shows like this in the past.
