Hi all,
If anyone has a verified Ticketmaster code for Hamilton tickets that they don't plan on using, I could definitely put it to good use. I think the codes are being released at 10:00 ET. I got an email saying I'm on standby.
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone received their codes? We are two hours out and I have not received any texts. I got the email yesterday saying I would get two texts 2-4 hours before the sale started.

Just got it....although I never saw my email yesterday. Check your email too.
Loco....I don't think you can use anyone else's code...I think it's tied to your registration/account.

I don't think you could put it to good use. The whole point of the Verified Fan program is that the code is linked to the account for which it is generated. Either the code just flat out wouldn't work if used by a different account, or they could easily determine that during an audit and cancel those tickets.

I was afraid so, @haterobics; however, with the Frozen pre-sale last week, I think some people were able to share their codes. Either way, thanks for the info.

Got the code this morning via text. Do we know how expensive the cheapest will be?

Those were pre-sale codes not linked to a specific Ticketmaster account, though. The Verified program is different.

I also wonder that IF you give your code away (whether for remaining tix or altogether) if it will somehow flag YOU as not having kept your personal code, therefore making it more difficult for you to get "verified" in the future.

I've been following the verified ticket thread to prepare myself for Harry Potter. I just have a question. If I get a code can i give it to my sister to use to be able to get tickets for us? Also what exactly happens when you get s code? Do they just send you a code and you just go to Ticketmaster at 10 and put the code in or is it like the lotterys where they send you a seperate link?

You get a text that ONLY has the code, and then you get a second email that has the link. When you register, you connect it to a telecharge account, and add a cell phone number. I'm sure they don't care what credit card is used, but supposedly you can only use it along with the account to which it is attached.
I've asked here if anyone had any luck using someone else's code...but haven't heard any answers.

I was trying to find tickets alongside a friend, and her computer (which was on her Ticketmaster account, not mine) went through before mine, with the code that only I received. This leads me to believe that codes are not linked to accounts.

^Interesting. And kind of sad.

That doesn't mean Ticketmaster can't easily audit all of the sales to make sure that only that only sales using the codes linked to their verified accounts go through.

True. We have seen them cancel ticket orders in the past.

Ticketmaster replied to someone on Twitter that "the code will be tied to the account used to register". Not sure if they just say so in order to deter people from trying, though.

I was able to get tickets with a code that someone PM'd me. So, I'd say it's worth a try if you can get a hold of one. I had to buy them using my verified account.

Called Ticketmaster to ask about the matching-code-to-account question, and the guy actually laughed at how paranoid my question sounded.
There won't be a problem with codes being used on other accounts, as long as you're not exceeding the max ticket number.
