Anyone else catch this yet? It's fun!
She sounds (& looks) sensational, and though these are pretty standard modern arrangements of much-heard Christmas songs, it was an enjoyable way to spend 45 minutes. When she's singing, she's fully in star mode. I could have done without all the Ted Lasso bits, I know they need to cater to her target audience, but it felt incredibly forced & too corny.
Ben Brantley just tweeted about it: "I have concluded that she is the new Hugh Jackman -- an Entertainer with a capital E, a glittering throwback who spices shimmying showbiz seductiveness with a dollop of camp."
