Paige, best known for THE PAJAMA GAME, is one of the few living stars of a musical from the early 1950s.
I’ve always had mixed feelings about her voice, but it is always heartening when someone from that far back is still with us! Hope she is able to celebrate. It seems like she was active until at least a few years ago.

Wow! She's 100!?!?!?
My first exposure to that great lady was in the movie "Silk Stockings" where she does a great comic musical number with Fred Astaire: "Stereophonic Sound".
I also loved her in "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" with Doris Day and David Niven.

A fine performer in movies, television and on stage. In 1968, she replaced Angela Lansbury in MAME. I thought she gave an excellent performance as a psychiatric patient in THE CARETAKERS (1963) with Robert Stack and Joan Crawford. Cheers to Ms. Paige on her 100th Birthday!
