It's our first Sondhiem birthday without him, which makes me sad. But we have a treasure trove of songs to remember him on this special day.

ALW is still producing and writing theatre, bringing us more shows for both sides of the pond! His shows have topped the longest-running boards and they still play all over the world and on tour.

It's wonderful to have lived in a time where we have had both of these two maestros doing what they do best.

Happiest of Birthday to the both of them!

Mr. Sondheim was more than just a legend, he was a GOD! Still cannot believe he's gone! I thought he could live forever, or at least to 100. Hopefully, we will get to see his last creation, Square One. We will keep his legacy alive for many years to come!

Also, Happy Birthday to ALW! Though he may be a cranky person, he is still a master composer! I am looking forward to seeing his new Cinderella show when it comes to NYC this year!

The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince

I loved the time Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber got together, in person, to wish Cameron Mackintosh a happy birthday at a gala concert in London.
