HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!
Anyone else think he's wishing that someone will miraculously take a chance on bringing BOUNCE to Broadway as he blows out his candles tonight?

Happy Birthday, Sir! The world is richer for your presence in it.
I remember, years ago, calling a friend on this date and singing "Happy Stephen Sondheim's Birthday to you!" to the tune of the song "Happy Birthday to You!" and to the tune of "And many more!", I sang "And my Andrew Lloyd-Webber get run over by a truck!"
Ah, happy days...

Happy Birthday indeed!
And if Johnny Kander can still write new shows, so can good old Stevie
Let's get busy!
Edit: Oh, yes, and happy birthday too to Sir Andrew, may he too provide us with new shows. He isn't Sondheim, but he does know how to write scores (differently than many of those who get their hands on Broadway shows nowadays).
