This colorful documentary was shown last night on the National Geographic Channel, and I assume (hope) it will be repeated. As a senior gay guy, I believe it is vitally important now that we remember our history, stand firm against those who oppose us, and embrace our Queerness.

Heartbreaking. It reminds me of Nazi Germany. I'm thankful all of my grandparents were out of Europe by 1939. We're Jewish and I'm also bi.

It's says like these that I really see the palpable connection between the theatre and LGBTQIA+ inclusivity--it's what kept me doing theatre, and what continues to be a safe space for us to exist. Thankful for the theatre, but so sad about the country.
