Yes, this has been mentioned, but only at the tail-end of another thread about casting. (I only saw it after searching once I'd seen the NYTimes piece)
Being filmed for a June showing/airing. Fingers crossed for DVD/Bluray release!

Posted: 4/7/11 at 3:00amUgh I'm glad, but it just makes me wish all the more this was a fully staged production. I feel like, as great as much of it was, the Doyle production was enough like a concert anyway and am getting kinda sick of filmed concert Broadway shows, and not actual productions...

So am I... I haven't read much about his Merrily but assumed that, like Doyle's Road Show it wasn't going to be another actor/musician? It is? Booo
I admit one reason is that it takes away dance as an important part of these shows (which it was for Company and even Merrily). I guess this concert Company will have Tick Tock though--I'd love if they redid the Bennett choreography which I've only seen in the slightly less full out version McKechnie did at the original cast reunion concert.
