No, it’s the other way around. The production’s advance had already fallen considerably, so the 934 promotion was (presumeably) a means of getting more people to the website to build awareness of the show’s availability. This appearance on TKTS is another means of counteracting the same problem.
It's hard to say at the moment. There weren't that many seats available for either set of performances, so the ticket prices for those performances through the box office were higher than what I had seen for similar seats at previous performances. I am currently seeing tickets for pretty good seats on Ticketmaster for $95/part and $69/part, and those are cheaper than what they were selling at TKTS for the same seats.
