Which one do you think will be the harder ticket to score? Seems like an insane 2018!

Harry Potter for sure. It will be absolute mayhem.

I think Frozen.  Potter is going to make sure they have plenty of last minute availability, rush and lottery options, or so I've been told.

Judging by the London ticket sales Harry Potter. I think the fact that it's a new story makes it seem like a must see for fans whereas whilst Frozen will clearly do well, it's just an adaptation of an already available movie.

Isn't the full Harry Potter play two performances long? Seems like that would automatically make it the harder ticket.

Harry Potter, definitely.

Both of them are going to be review-proof (which is good, because the Cursed Child script itself is nowhere near up to snuff), but like Froote said, it's a new story set in the HP universe, whereas Frozen (while it will probably look great onstage) is an adaptation of something else.

My guess would be Harry Potter, think it has a larger fan base.

I remember that NY post article a few months ago that quoted a producer saying Potter could run 30 yrs (which I'm not taking literally)...but Frozen will probably be the Hamilton for every girl in America. And both theaters are doing big renovations to accommodate. Has there every been anything like this? Should be interesting to watch!

That and the lines at the stage door will probably be crazy - lol.

Certainly Harry Potter. I just hope they keep the same policies they have in London, i.e. very affordable tickets (top ticket price for both parts together is 130GBP) and something like the Friday Forty, where 40 tickets are sold Friday for 40 GBP for each set of performances the following week.

The Hamilton for every girl in America is Hamilton. Two (likely) huge box office successes but otherwise not comparable in any way, two vastly different beasts.

Harry Potter no question. Bigger and more diverse fan base and as has been said thid is a new story. Plus its already known that it is a good show (strong reviews and awards from london plus word of mouth)

If Frozen is poorly received by audiences then i can see it following same pattern as Little Mermaid. It might survive poor press reviews but probably not poor press and poor word of mouth

Harry Potter for obvious reasons.

They'll both be nightmares but I imagine Harry Potter will have a wider audience.

Frozen will have the benefit of being the only production of Frozen for a while. Harry Potter has already had worldwide fans flocking to see it in London for two years by the time the Broadway production opens. I saw it last year with Stanley Tucci and his family sitting nearby.

Harry Potter. Frozen can be reproduced at home, and HP can't.
