Has Ben Brantley Liked anything this season??

So for a while now once a show opens I ALWAYS look at what the NY Times has to say because I feel like if a show gets an NY Times Critic Pick you know that that he LOVED the show....but this year now that Isherwood is gone has he given any a show a critics pick? Has he loved any show? I just checked and Miss Saigon, Significant Other, War Paint, Amelie, The Play That Goes Wrong have all opened and he's given NONE of them truly positive reviews......I find it super weird how Significant Other was given a SUPER good review by Isherwood but Brantley.....didn't......like it? Bandstand, Anastasia, Groundhog Day,Hello Dolly, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are still in previews and (except for Groundhog Day which I know he gave a good review when it was in London) at this point I don't expect him to give any of them good reviews?



Okay he gave Sunset Boulevard a Critics Pick but that's one show

Seems that he's been rather generous, as historical averages would go.....

^ I agree. I think his reviews this season have been pretty spot on for the most part. As far as the remaining shows this season go, I would be shocked to see Anastasia, Bandstand, or Charlie get Critic's Picks. I would be shocked if Hello, Dolly! did NOT get a Critic's Pick. Same with Groundhog Day since he loved it in London,

Did he give Dear Evan Hansen a critics pick? Im pretty sure he loved that too.

I don't seem to recall Brantley expressing any opinion of DEH, but I may be mistaken!
