i've heard that he has not
Didn't someone say he was ill on a different thread? I could be mixing up info.

Riedel said on Theater Talk back in January that Herman had plans to take the train up to New York to go see it. No idea if he has or not.

Since the producers don't show any kind of backstage pictures, we'll never know! We haven't even seen any celebrity pic backstage with Bette!

Naw, you've just been mixing drinks. (Totally kidding about the uncustomary typos.) Your info is correct, at least as far as what has been reported here.
Posters who usually know say Herman has been ill (I also know as much from a mutual friend) and that he doesn't fly any more, so he would have to take the train. Whether he will do so wasn't known.
Carol Channing lives in my town and many of us have been on a plane with her at one time or another. Whether she is well enough to travel right now, however, I don't know.
Lol....I just saw them. I hate trying to post from my phone.....on the puter I have no problems. Argh. Here's to the ladies who lunch!
I like to acknowledge typos that make me laugh. No judgment intended, I swear. God knows I make plenty myself and I don't even post from my phone!

Neither Carol nor Jerry have seen the show yet and I talk to both of them regularly.

Sooooo??? Are you gonna keep me in suspense? When you talk to them next, ask them if they have any plans to see it? OK, Luv?

Skip, my relationships with celebrities is something I keep private--for the most part.Yes, I'll tell you when it happens but you'll probably see pictures about it on Instagram before I mention it.
Good for you, Dollypop. I've worked with Carol and, as I said, have a mutual friend who stays in close touch with both of them. I don't even ask my friend about what they are doing, much less repeat it here. It just doesn't seem necessary.

When you are fortunate enough to form a friendship with a "name" you have a responsibility to protect their privacy and not broadcast everything they share with you. However, their coming to NYC to see a specific show is okay to discuss on social media.
