It's typical Christie: lots of characters, lots of motives.
It's Agatha Christie - a wonderful mystery, that, despite my having played it 20 years prior, made me weep at the denoument when I finally saw it in London. Well worth the time if you are in London.
Christopher Wren, the 'fey' one, was played by a woman? Did John Doyle direct?
It was the first role I ever played as a freshman in high school (of COURSE it was). I actually got to do it again professionally at the PA Shakes Fest in 2000. With a pretty great cast. Certainly not a great play (or really even a good play, for that matter), but it can been a diverting evening if done well.
