Just curious. I see they have one now for tickets to Ms Ross.
OMG! I always have the exact same reaction whenever I see those threads DAME.
Winners, we beckon you to come forth!
I won tickets to Seth Rudetsky's Deconstructing Broadway at New World this past monday.
I won the CD for In the Heights
Isn't the Seth Rudetsky thing free to begin with?
I won a copy of Heartbreaker: A Memoir of Judy Garland which came with an accompanying CD.

Was it? I assumed otherwise since it was a benefit.

I won the tickets to the last Broadway matinee of "Avenue Q" last September.
I don't think it was ever announced to anyone but me...they're very scattershot on which winners they make public.
I didn't even know it was a benefit. He does so many of them they are all one to me. I enjoy him. He reminds me of Rudy Del Amor.

I won tickets to the Addams Family! Well, actually I think it was more of a punishment for bad behavior...
i have fond memories i collected my prize for winning the "have idina teabag you" contest.
i also have not so find memories from winning the "have rob and craig take turns punching you in the nuts" contest - which it turns out i was the only participant in and doesn't even seem to have been publicized all that much. last time i enter a conteast that arrives via pm from calvin.
I won a pair of tickets to see Wintuk this past fall from a Broadwayworld contest. I don't remember if I was notified via a PM or via email but they didn't make the winners of that contest public.
papa, I still await your entry in the "give calvin a $250K deposit so he can access a $250M bank account in eritrea" contest!

^ And now you just won this thread. Bravo
I just (as in I just got off the phone) won two tickets to THE FANTASTICKS 50th Anniversary performance. Though it's not technically a BWW contest.
I seem to recall two or three years back the poster Defying Gravity GIrl (DGG) won tickets to a Broadway show (can't remember which one, though). It was mentioned in the Avatar thread and we all congratulated her.
Tip of the day: Always have a spare email address (I use the old hotmail account I had in college) to register for contests and such to keep your work and personal accounts spam-lite.
i have just received a text that i am one of the finalists in the "whack winston89 upside the head with a pool cue" contest! omg, i hope i get it!

Talking about contests -- I'd like to ask about the Tony toney watches that were awarded at last year's Tony Awards Show in Radio City. Some guy got up on stage twice at break times to conduct random drawings for Audemars Piguet watches, luxury timepieces. Each time he opened an attache case, which had tickets or stubs visible in several levels of rows, looked in, and took one ticket out. A seat number was announced (both times in the better-seats sections).
I wrote to the company asking for the names of the winners, but received no reply.
Did anyone here on BWW win one of those drawings?
p.s. Does anyone believe or know whether those were actual random drawings, or were the winners predetermined?
Stagey - it was Xanadu
That's it! THanks, Tinky.
