Hey boys!

Long time no post. My name is Justin Buchbinder and I used to be super active around these parts. In my time away I became the official Broadway Blogger for http://www.homo-neurotic.com , a Gay GQ-esque online mag for NYC.

This week I will be interviewing actress Veanne Cox, who is appearing in the York Theatre Company's upcoming concert production of "High Spirits."

And I want to ask her your questions!

If you have anything you'd like me to ask her, just respond to this thread. I'll even give you credit in the interview.

How did you manage to sing "Getting Married Today" from "Company" at the tempo that you sang it at? Can you still sing it for memory?

Any dream roles...from plays or musicals that you have yet to play?

What about the ones you have played...favorites?

How did you get your equity card? Updated On: 6/10/09 at 02:19 AM

She's so wonderful, here are a few that I'd love to see her discuss:

Any comments you can share about your experience working in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE with Tony Kushner or in general?
An obvious one, any plans to return to Broadway soon?
You are hilarious on the SHOWING OFF cast recording, what can you tell us about the experience working in that show with the likes of Donna Murphy and Jason Graae?
What roles would you like to play in the future?

I'd like to hear more about her Broadway debut in "Smile".

some of the other questions are ones I wanted to ask, too. but I also wanted to ask about Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens. "Charlotte" is my favorite part of the NY Concert Cast reading, and I wanted to know how she managed to do such an emotional monologue so warmly and perfectly.

I'd love to hear her thoughts on making Miss Firecracker and working with all those talented folks like Holly Hunter, Tim Robbins, and Alfre Woodard and Scott Glenn. Also, how was it to play the wonderful Amy Wright's sister in the film? Any funny stories or memories. It is such a wonderful film...

I think she'd be perfect as Charlotte in A Little Night Music.

she would be, but not in this revival. they're casting Charlotte as late 20s, so I think Veanne is (unfortunately) out.
