Glad you checked back, Justin.
Upon your recommendation I think I will go with Color Purple as well when I head back to NYC at the end of March. I had another friend say it was amazing too.
Last spring I saw Something Rotten and Fun Home, as well, along with An American in Paris, On the Twentieth Century, On the Town, The Visit and Finding Neverland. I really liked them all, for their own reasons, as well. Very different, but all very good.
Although I passed on The King and I (since I've seen it numerous times), I went ahead and bought tickets for my trip next month. Way too many kudos this show has received from fans, including a few "minor" Tonys.
I'm in. I want to see Kelli….and glad to see that Ken will be back in the show when I'm in town. Hopefully Kelli is in it the night I see it. According to the Lincoln Center site, she is not out the evening I'm seeing it. But you never know.
Glad you enjoyed your trip.
