Not bad, Jeff.
I've never seen the stage version of Hedwig, and I'm only familiar with the film (which I ADORE). I have tickets for April and can't wait!
So... forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I'm curious as to how this is supposed to work as a "solo" show. If Tommy isn't even in the show ... how are all of those scenes together going to be played? Some of the strongest, most heartbreaking moments in the film are their scenes face-to-face.

The original production was Hedwig in concert. Hedwig played the other roles (his mother, Luther, Tommy).
PDjennings, the Hedwigs on stage were all able to convey those moments you mentioned, even through playing both parts. Well, all except for one.
Are we going to start being mean about Ally Sheedy now?
I'll say that from what I've heard about her, it's not WRONG to have a woman playing Hedwig ever, but Ally Sheedy was not the right woman for the job.
"Are we going to start being mean about Ally Sheedy now?"
Um.. nah, not in the mood right now.
Puh-lease. this from one of our top meanies here. Who seemed to know exactly who I was talking about without my naming him/her.
and btw, why don't you stay over at ATC with your lansmen? LOL
