Heidi Blickenstaff in NEXT TO NORMAL

Just heard that Heidi Blickenstaff is going to play Diana in Weston Playhouse's Next to Normal this summer. I think this is really interesting casting. She was actually on my list of people I would like to have seen take over for Alice back in 2010, before Marin was announced.

The theatre website lists the director as Michael Berresse, so it is likely that he would cast Heidi. The website does not list the cast.

On the night that Gene Kelly died, I was performing the Don Lockwood role in Singin' In The Rain. During the bows, I got the most amazing applause, EVER, in my career.

I hope whoever is cast as Gabe isn't in his late 20s, as Heidi reads very young. (She looks early 30s to me.)
