Anyone know why the two brothers did not speak to each other for years?
I hear Maurice is not popular backstage at HOT FEET.

I had heard that also and was told the story but forget. I am sure someone here knows. I have never been a fan of Maurices.

If you knew me better, pab, you wouldn't be so surprised.

I know you saw the show and HATED it, but really...Lennon, Hot Feet, In My Life, Ring of Fire, Lestat, and countless others were much worse. Bring Back Birdie did not deserve a fate of four performances.

As for Maurice and Gregory. It is said that Maurice never forgave Gregory for breaking up the family group Hines, Hines and Dad.

I had a certain relationship with this show which included the fact that two of my teachers worked on it as the people responsible for costume and lighting design. I'll comment no further other than to say that four days was plenty for that run.
