They should....it's a show not to be missed.
because, if i DO make it to NYC, i don't think i'll be able to afford 100 bucks seats...
I got tickets to see it in June. We are sitting Row K Center Mezz. Will we miss anything?
i don't think so. I think the only problem is if you're sitting WAY close.

I sat WAY close, in the front row of the orchestra. I missed nothing.
Whew! Thought I made a mistake getting tickets that far back. Seeing a ton of shows while there so we are not doing orchestra seats for all of them. Thanks Caroline.
well, i think you might be cramped. i hear the balcony is not that comfortable.
but the play is SPECTACULAR. so you'll love every minute of it
uncageg, I think you may have a bit of obstruction on the projections that they use during the scene changes. I haven't sat in the mezz, so I don't know for sure, but I've read about some issues in the rear mezz. Hopefully it's not too bad though!
ETA: CQ, did you see the Drama League pix?!?
Ouch...I was afraid of that. But as long as I don't miss any action. The being cramped thing I am more worried about for my friend that is traveling with me. He is a tall and broad guy. I have been trying to make sure he has aisle seats. He is not going to like the Walter Kerr (He is seeing Doubt. I already saw it last year). That was the most cramped theatre I have been in so far.
The Kerr is HORRIBLE! I sat in the balcony for Doubt and I'm so glad I had an aisle seat. If I wasn't able to turn out, I don't think I would have made it (and that's for a 90 minute show, and I'm only like 5'3"!!!).
I think you'll be ok w/ the partially obstructed projections though. The first time I saw it, I was in the front row, and the hanging classroom lights blocked out big chunks of the projections and it was still fine. I think your view might cut off some off the top, so it's a different kind of obstruction, but I still don't think it should be anything worth fretting about...You shouldn't miss any of the action from up there, and that's what really counts, right?!
I SAW THEM MABEL!
how many awesome pics of our favorite Scripps are there!!???
*is very happy*
Ahhh, good times, my friend. Good. Times.
Domhnall Gleeson is also very cute in a quasi-scruffy, I don't really care about being here sort of way. He's definitely much cuter without that crazy wig he has on in Inishmore!
i was about to mention that.
he just be runner up!
I'm drawn to the boys in green. *looks down at my green tank and purse on the couch* There seems to be an inordinate number of cute boys on the boards this season, especially in straight plays (where's Mark Ruffalo?!?!?).
If you end up coming to NYC this summer are you going to have to SRO it (I'm pretty sure they've nixed the rush) or I suppose the rear mezz "cheap" seats wouldn't be so bad (so you'd have tix secured).
i'm pretty sure that i'll try to rear-mezz it. or get a rich relative to front some money
but, rest assured, i WILL be seeing The History Boys.
lol.
yeah. That tie that fair Jamie has on is definately tres shnazzy!!! i love that picture that your avatar came from!!! so very funny. (and pretty damn cute)
and i'm still totally loving this pic:
That row in the Mezz isnt too bad at all. I was a few rows in front of that for opening night, it'll be fine.
Great. I was in the Mezz for Doubt in the center of a row. I am 5' 11". I just let my legs go numb and enjoyed the show!!!
There's a rush still, that's how I saw it.
