Many thanks Tiggo. I'm afraid i'm one of the "newies" so didn't notice that link. Mind you, I still have a wind-up gramaphone, so I'm probably not too up-to-date with previous threads! All best wishes. Mx

Am really looking forward to seeing this production. Seems like it went down very well in Oz hence the transfer to London. With this and Priscilla, Australian theatre exports are suddenly gathering pace which is good news Holding the Man

Got a freebie for this afternoon through the night less ordinary scheme which luckily the trafalgar studios is involved in. Absolutely wonderful and had me engaged right from the start.
It is one of those plays you will spend a lot of time reflecting on afterwards. I literally can't stop thinking about it.
Shame it was only half full this afternoon. Highly recommended.

I was just about to post my report here.
I saw it last night (Fri) and I think it is one of the best productions to hit the West End since the recent 'Jerusalem'.
As Mark said, I too, was gripped within seconds.
The company of 6 play around 20 parts each and it is such an ensemble piece it is impossible to pick any individual out- they are all totally amazing.
I will say one thing, on that stage stand the 4 most handsome men now on a West End stage.
It had me in tears of laughter and tears of deep emotion in what was a whirlwind of a journey thru the lives of real people. I felt brilliant for hours after it.
This is the 'Normal Heart'/'As Is' of today, I enjoyed this more than both of them.
The Aussies have done it again!
Yes, GO GO GO!
Brilliant theatre!

I absolutely adore this play. My Australian penpal sent me a copy of this for my Christmas present :) I love it and will be seeing it on the 10th June. So so excited to be able to see a production of it :) need something to pair with it. Love the Sinner or Enron I'm thinking, as I've seen basically all the cheap musicals in the West End at the moment :P except for Charity but can find no cheapies!! (student finance fail...)

If your going on June 10th, a Thursday, then I swear 'Charity' will be at TKTS for you. Its not selling well at all.
It was on Friday night and it was there!
You will love 'Man' so much.

Can't wait to see this in June and will probably be annoyed I can only see it once then! I think it's a really important play to stage and so glad it's getting a west end outing.

Okay, thanks Mama :) I read the play again last night and just bawled and bawled once more. What the hell will I be like at the theatre? :P

Like me i guess i sobbed on a number of occasions, it is so absorbing. I sat there leaning forward virtually the whole time. Its a long time since i got so swept up in a production.
