Holiday Rush

My sister and I are planning a trip to the city and we were wondering if it's harder to get rush tickets for most shows during the holiday season, like this week? We were planning on seeing either Mamma Mia or Sister Act for the wednesday matinee but we were wondering what our chances would be of getting rush tickets for either show? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

This week won't be as bad as next, but you should expect more participation. Neither of the shows you mentioned are high demand shows, so I would think your chances are good.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'm thinking of rushing a show tomorrow- any idea whether it will be more or less crowded since most college semesters are over now and it's a weekend? I'll go earlier if necessary, but if I can avoid standing outside for an extra hour I'd love to do that.
