Holidays on Broadway

I'm planning a trip to NY during July 4th week. I'm also considering coming back for Thanksgiving. I was wondering if there would be a higher likelihood that principal cast members would take vacation during those times or if it tends to be the same as any other time. I know there are no guarantees but I'd hate to make the trip during a time that it tends to be known that cast members take a break.

Any insight is appreciated.

It’s always going to be a total crapshoot. The only times you can pretty much bank on the full casts being on are Critics nights before opening and the weeks leading up to the Tony Awards.
