The only [tos] thing I've seen is the videos on YouTube. Funny stuff.
They talk about the TONYs a lot, but it's interesting that they decided to be the first show to open in the 2008-2009 season. I hope they do become 'the little show that could' like Xanadu, and stay on until June 2009. There's only four people in the cast, and I assume they don't need many stage hands, so it might not be expensive to run.

Posted: 6/21/08 at 3:12pmI hope it will be great, because everyone seems to have good things about it and the ads are funny. The video yesterday with the Tony parties showed that these people are genuinely funny. I hope it tours or stays around for a while.

My honest thoughts on TOS...
I fear for it's survival on Broadway.
I think everyone involved has been tricked into believing it is right for Broadway by a loud, supportive fan base that feeds the creators' egos.
It has far too small a body mass to make the big splash it is hoping to make. (Think Cheyenne doing a Belly Flop!)
Sure, the CD is cute, but does anybody really listen to it all the way through anymore without skipping "those boring parts"?
I'm sure the cast members are all great people, and this isn't a PERSONAL attack on them, but surely they should be able to see that their constant attempts to be cute or silly or original only guarantee them many more opportunities to expose flaws and fall flat.
What had my interest at the beginning many many months ago, has now grown stale.
I see them more as being "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" and "Altar Boyz" successful.....definitely NOT able to compete with anything larger. I wish they would be happy with that.
Who knows? I might be wrong this time!
Best Wishes to everyone associated with the production!
