I'm looking for an honest prediction about the probability of Les Miserables selling out its run... A friend and I would like to take a day trip down to New York to see the show around February, and I'm wondering if it would be wise to buy tickets now... Will it sell out like "A Chorus Line", or will people be thinking "eh, didn't that already close?" and not bother?

More optimistically, what are the odds that it may be on TKTS a few months after it opens?

Thanks much!

I doubt it's going to be on TKTS, but I'm not quite sure about it selling out.

Especially because they are advertising it as a "limited run," don't expect to see it on TKTS.

Jan and Feb are pretty dead months on Broadway, and I don't think Les Mis is selling out that far ahead. I'm sure if you come on a weekday and it's not Presidents Weekend, I would think it's a good chance you'll see it there.

Any chance that the "limited run" is extended and runs for a year?

It's not a limited run, it's a marketing ploy to get you to buy tickets NOW.
