I like the idea of the show going into the Neil Simon but the producers will probably insist on a bigger house.
The Marquis being renovated in January. The first 3 levels of the hotel and the parking in the basement are being changed into retail space from what I've heard. Talk is it will take 6-9 months, I imagine there will be some light renovation to the theatre and restructuring of it backstage area and "lobby" hopefully. That would leave the theatre ready to open in Fall of 2014 for Bodyguard?
No more parking? That's gonna be rough.
Put this in the Palace! It would be great there. How could that My Fair Lady even come in with Bart Sher busy with Bridges?
There's no hope for My Fair Lady this season. That's a big show that can't be thrown together at the last second. It will be announced way in advance whenever it happens. The Palace must have some show looking at it or else it would be considered open, yeah? Maybe Harmony or something?
Apparently, the rumors are that Big Fish will indeed close soon after the holidays and make way for Honeymoon in Vegas in the spring.
I don't know what the nut is for Big Fish, but it isn't doing that poorly according to the Grosses page.

It will all depend on if they have any substantial advance for January/February. If not, they'll have to close at the end of the year. Updated On: 10/22/13 at 08:56 PM
But what's going into The Palace?
