re: How About ....?

I've suggested this many, many times; it would work age/singing/acting wise, and would bring a huge increase among ticket sales. I know I'd pay to see that legend performing the role, and I'm sure the rest would, too.

Either way, they beter do somethin quick. The show ain't doin well, and someone famous needs to take over. Hahaha.

I am a fan of both Bette and Bernadette, and I think that it would be weird, because Bette's already done the movie, we've seen her interpretation of the role. Why revisit the past? Anyway, it looks like Bernadette's going to stay with it until September or so, and then the show will probably close.

oh, i could SO see nathan lane in the role :)
harvey'd be great, too. Bette Midler is amazing and she's done the role before....but i'd be more tempted to see it if they brought in someone NEWER.

Harvey or Nathan would both be fabulous...Bette? NO. Her TV version was rock bottom awful. It MIGHT have been the direction - but as big a star as she is, I have a feeling she was just doing it her way - which was basically turning to face the camera every time there was a solo and belting as loud and long as she could - which didn't impress me in the least.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" re: How About ....?

Listen - I think Stockard Channing is the best choice so far.. she is amazing in ANYTHING she does (have you ever seen "The Girl Most Likely To.." ?) I'd love to see her take on that role!
