They are feverishly trying to get stunt leads to prop up the B.O. and get them through the year. Otherwise they'll be losing north of 100K per week until October. Unless they are confident they can recoup that money why prolong the misery? Either way the end of the year is the latest they'll be open.

Its good to hear that the show is still good. I mean obviously no one could replace the originals, that is to be expected. I have a friend who doesn't know much about the show, would he still enjoy it?

re: How Much Longer for DRS?

yeah, well besides the awesome Paris idea, i really cant think of too many people who could do this show...
Christina Applegate as Christine? it wouldnt happen, but i dunno...
can anyone think of some people who might actually be open to do the show?

If Paris Hilton joined the cast of ANY Broadway show, that would be the death of it. Just my opinion, please don't unleash hell on me is you love her.

The end of the year sadly. It should last longer but the attendence drop is going to kill it if it doesnt pick up sooon.

Michael Reidel said that Curtains was looking to go into the Imperial so i'm saying the end of the year tops.

re: How Much Longer for DRS?

OI VEY! Paris Hilton CANNOT sing! She was at Heffner's birthday party and she sang him "Happy Birthday" and I wanted to commit suicide. She cannot sing, that is called using LOADS of "sweetners" on her tracks, and using digital voice manipulation.

And I will be joining GodIHopeIGetIt in her hole of lavishness!

Anymore room in the hole if Miss Hilton steps behind the footlights?
How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

I am glad that VinnieTheIceman didn't agree with the Paris Hilton idea.

re: How Much Longer for DRS?

Why don't they take the Music Box? It's dark. (PROBABLY MY IGNORANCE FOR NOT NOTICING THAT A SHOW IS GOING THERE)

The music box is a smaller theater.

High Fidelity should go into the Eugene O'Neill when Sweeney closes. A nice small theater.
