I'm guessing that's precisely why. I had thought the ACL cast was contracted for a year.
Mara going into the show will definitely get me back to see it. I loved her in ACL.

Posted: 3/27/07 at 7:21pmA friend of mine who is traveling with me to NYC will be seeing "Drowsy" on April 4th (I'm seeing "Grey Gardens" since I've already seen "Drowsy" with the OBC). Glad she gets to see Sutton, but sorry she won't get to see Georgia.

Posted: 3/27/07 at 7:37pmExciting! I've loved Janine LaManna in everything I've seen her in so far, and I'm glad that Mara Davi will soon have something to showcase her talent. I'm not a Drowsy fan, and I wasn't wowed by Davi in ACL, but I think I might enjoy her more in this show.

hmmm...
I saw Ms. Davi in 42nd Street and while I thought she was a force to be reckoned with, I didn't feel she had great potential in the acting department. Hopefully she will prove me wrong.

I think Davi has to waite for the contract for ACL to end. I think that she will make an amazing Janet and she would be someone that would get me to go back to the show.
Didn't she post here on BBW? I do recall there used to be a screen name of Mari Davi. I could be wrong however.
