I was thinking of taking my mom for Mother's Day, but that depends on how crowded it gets and how early it does so.

Crowded. People get there at like 5am, they only sell 12 tickets per show so the first six people in line are the only ones guaranteed anything. They all get there by 6 at the latest (I got there like an idiot at 8 and asked the first six people when they arrived...)
Hope it works out for you though, that would be a niiice mother's day gift!

Madbrian, to answer your question: I don't know for sure, but I imagine it would still be pretty crowded.

Posted: 5/8/07 at 8:29pmI did SRO back in Feburary and they do about 20ish people for SRO and its the same price as rush. They do it 2 hours before show. I went from HAIRSPRAY's matinee, and walked around then came back and BARELY got a ticket for SRO.

Posted: 5/8/07 at 10:25pmits gets crowded really fast, and there are now always scalpers, so either get there super early and try to beat them or you won't be getting tickets =(. this is the sad world we are living in.
