Hi everyone! This is a question from England about Equity. I look through the Playbill.com website and see lots of fantastic Equity auditions, but how do you become a member in the States? Is it only through getting an Equity job and how do you get that if you can't go to the audition? Over here I became an Equity member through my drama scholl but I was wondering how it's done over there, the definitive explanation as I've heard so many conflicting ones! I'd be really grateful if anyone could fill me in-thanks!
