I was looking at the Fun Home website and it's sort of disastrous for the production how many seats seem available. Like 75% unsold for the next show it looks like. Doing some booking for my parents, how easy do you think it is to win the Fun Home lottery now? Or should I just give in and book some $55 seats (i'm sure the view is fine, eh?).

Fairly easy. I've won twice. Once last July, again in February. It seems like the lottery has gotten a little spark of interest ever since they announced the show was closing but it's still pretty easy to win after a few tries

I won it a few times last year and then again a day or two after the closing announcement in June. Always gives excellent seats, too.

My roommate has been entering it several times a week for months, and has never won. Maybe she's just very unlucky? I entered it almost every day for a few weeks back in May, because I wanted to see Luker before she left. In those few weeks, I never won once. Finally I bought a discounted ticket through their lotto-loser deal.

I won a couple of weeks ago when Luker was on and when I went to get my tickets, I saw the list of lottery winners names and it was 3 pages long. So I'm guessing they're giving out a LOT of lottery tix for it.

Speaking of Fun Home, has everyone been in recently. I'm taking some family to the show and I'm hoping to see Judy and Michael again.

I was there on Saturday and everyone was in except for the actor who played the older brother. More than a year in and the cast is still excellent; Malone, Cerveris, and Kuhn have only deepened their already brilliant performances.

I was there on Saturday as well (used the $40 4th of July weekend discount). I saw it way back during its run at the Public, but this was my first time finally seeing it on Broadway. I agree that everyone in the cast is still turning in amazing performances, and it's probably one of the best shows I've seen at Circle in the Square.
I admit that I am keeping an eye out for a time when Cerveris is out. I've worked with Jim Stanek a few times and would love to see him in the role before the show closes.

I won for the matinee last Wednesday. The whole cast was in. One of the most memorable theatre experiences I've ever had.

AEA - I saw Jim in the role when I went a few weeks ago and he was fantastic.

Need to see this one last time before it closes and looking to go on August 20, either show. What's the story been like on this, as far as TDF, TKTS, etc., locations... I can get like D101 now for $99. But if I could get even closer/cheaper, then by all means, I'm all for it. I know the Saturday show has shown up as a last minute TDF, but is that just last row/behind the band? Any insight? Thanks.

A friend who won lotto for this past Saturday matinee got a pair of tickets kind of on the edge of the 400 section (I don't know exactly where, but I saw a photo and I think she was in the aisle close to but not behind the band). She said it was a great vantage point.
I'm going again in a couple of weeks with a friend who's never seen it and decided to risk it with Goldstar.

I bought tickets off TDF in early July and to my dismay they were in the 400 section behind the band, not the last row, but a few rows back. I don't think I bought them last minute...I think it was several days in advance.
I don't know if that is typical seating though as it's the only time I went via tdf

I had entered the Fun Home lottery dozens of times last year and never won, but then 2 weeks ago I was entering other tickets lotteries and decided to enter the Fun Home lottery. Surprisingly, I won! I ended up not being able to go, but I'm hoping to win the lottery again before the show closes.

I've seen the show thru the lottery 2 times...once was front row 100's and other was 400's on the side aisle, so it really wasn't bad at all.
To be honest...any seat in that theater isn't bad.
