I'm thinking of seeing it in December just because I adore Patrick Stewart, but if it isn't that good, I'll probably see "Time Stands Still" instead.

I saw it last weekend, and if you enjoy Stewart, it's worth seeing. I wasn't a huge fan of the play itself, but I thought the performances of TR and Stewart were marvelous. The role is quite a departure from what I've seen Stewart do in the past (mainly dramatic Shakespearean pieces and his popular film and TV roles)- quite funny for the majority of the show. And really, any chance to see Sir Patrick on stage is worth the ticket price.

I'm with Jeanius. I thought it was a great night of theater. While I didn't have a problem with the pacing and transitions, a lot of people have. Patrick Stewart said they were tightening that stuff up on The View this morning, but again, I don't think any fixing is needed there.

Definitely make an effort to see this :)

I saw it's 5th preview and, yes, the transitions were very slow, but they didn't kill the experience. If you are new to Mamet (like i was) this is one of his more docile works and a good place to start. Patrick and TR gave magnificent and poignant performances.

also, the student rush seats are not bad. i recommend this show.

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely consider it. Do Patrick and/or T.R. sign afterwards?

The transitions were pretty quick when I saw it, so they are definitely working out the kinks. Both men sign afterward.
