How is that every Broadway actor has been on LAW & ORDER?

christopher sieber has not.

-Dre- You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.

i have no idea but i've noticed that as well. really most crime shows plus i've seen a lot of Sex and the City with the men. I'm assuming it's for that reason.

Because they've had to cast about 100,000 episodes and it's filmed in New York.

Many episodes, many spinoffs, many extras/bit roles. Not surprising.

Jerry Orbach and Jesse L. Martin star! But yeah the have a huuuuge amount of roles to fill for every episode, for all three L&O shows. And Broadway actors are awesome.

I have so many Law and Order episodes TiVo'd that I won't let my mother delete because they have Broadway stars in them. It is kind of weird because I'll just be sitting there getting my daily L & O fix and all of a sudden it's like... "Wait a minute... why did Ruthie Henshall just kill that guy?" or "Why did Denis O'Hare just rape that grandma?"
And did anyone see Jose Llana in HITCH? I wasn't expecting that... it sounds really silly, but it totally made my day

"Wait a minute - did that piano teacher molest Wilson Jermaine Heredia? Did that doctor just ask Karen Ziemba for oral gratification?"

I am still in trauma from Karen Ziemba's episode. When he asked her that I got so sick to my stomach. Ick. He was so creepy.
Heredia was brilliant in his episode.
Donna Murphy was great in hers too.
They are repeating Carolee Carmello's episode next Friday. I don't know how big her part is, but I'm very excited.
I recently became a Law and Order junky. It's a great show, and usually has at least one Broadway star on.

I already was a Law & Order junkie, but now that I'm starting to recognize all these people I've seen on stage, it's even better.
And I totally thought of Christopher Sieber's bio when I saw this thread title.

Me too Orangskittles--I thought it was so witty when I read in his Spamalot playbill bio--And Chris Sieber has never been on Law & Order...

I like when they're on twice, playing different characters. Didn't Bebe Neuwirth play a killer in one episode, and ended up being an attorney later?

Also---When they have a major or beloved star on,even though initially their character seems tangential to crime---you know they are too important not to be majorly involved----I get a kick out of it

Brad Oscar had a little role too as a chef in a resturant, it was just one scene, but everytime they re-run it, I yell, "I've seen that guy in The Producers!"

Brad was also in an episode of L & O CI.

How about Anthony Rapp on the X-Files? I laugh every time.. He never saw that invisible monster thing coming. ..
You know what I'm talking about.
And you can't forget about BD Wong on SVU.

It's not just Broadway actors. Nearly every struggling actor in New York has been on Law & Order, and most Broadway actors were struggling at one point.
