I agree, SVU is the best. I think it's Elliot. Just a guess.
I love Law and Order and the fact that all these amazing actors and actresses make guest appearances amazes me!

I assume it's because they need alot of guest actors on that show to play criminals and so on. PLUS it is filmed in NYC.
One day i'll be a guest star on Law and Order...one day.

I saw Kristin Chenoweth at the end of West Wing the other day...according to IMDB, she's been in several episodes. (I don't watch WW, but I thought it was pretty cool.)

Joel Grey, Terrence Mann, William Michals, Gregg Edelman, Chuck Cooper, Julia Murney, the list goes on and on. "Spot the Broadway actor" is half the reason I got sucked into the L&O franchise.

Can you imagine Michael Crawford on Law & Order? Or Ralph Fiennes?

I remembering seeing Roger Bart on there.
To me, it's like almost every playbill I have from the past few years has atleast one member of the cast listing Law & Order as a role credit. LoL

Julia Murney has appeared on *ALL 3* L&O *AND* Sex and the City as well. =D
Liz Larsen has been on about a million L&O episodes, including CI, because she had a recurring role as "CSU Tech Jessica Reed".
Jerry Orbach was a guest on an early season of L&O, then came back as a different character--Det. Lenny Briscoe.
Terrence Mann appeared on L&O in 2001 and again in 2005, the latter with Michael Potts, his "Lennon" costar.
Jonathan Sharp had a great bit on SVU--I think he was a porn star? I just recall him unloading S&M gear from a truck.
John Jellison appeared a few times, once with Julia Murney, once with Liz Larsen, once with Terrence Mann.
Chuck Cooper has been on multiple times, as different characters.
Anthony Rapp's episode also starred Jane Krakowski.
Will Chase has done two episodes, one of which also costars Alix Korey.
I love L&O/Bway Trivia!

I've been an L&O fan for about 7 years. Jerry was a lawyer early on, then came back and of course was phenomenal. I still think Jerry and Jesse were the best team of all of them...I'm missing Jerry all the time...RIP Jerry!
Anthony's episode on SVU creeped me right out, he was great and I was hopping all over the place with happiness like I did on Beautiful Mind. My kids totally think I'm weird.
I gotta see Wilson's episode, I work nights now though, haven't advanced to Tivo (took me till the late 90's to get a microwave), and the VCR's "record while I'm away" feature still eludes me.
Anywho, yeah, lots of Broadway folks up there (except Adam, wtf?)and I'm happy for them, adds to the old resume.

I think Jennifer Laura Thompson's episode remains my favorite - she's just so inherently sweet - and then there she is, killing her boyfriend in the bathroom and THEN taking a shower.
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight

I haven't seen Jennifer's yet! STOP SPOILING IT!
Oh, and I haven't seen Anthony's either - I tried to Tivo it once, and my TV went schizoid and changed to an infomercial three seconds in. Then a couple months ago, I was channelsurfing, saw his episode was on, and changed it jsut as he was being zipped into a body bag.
Figures, eh?
